Police Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Rocklin, CA. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and providing excellent customer service to our community.

• Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and enforce traffic laws and regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and testify in court as needed.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to build trust and resolve issues.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and laws.

• High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by 30 college-level semester units from a regionally accredited educational institution.
• Current employment as a full-time, sworn peace officer in a California POST participating law enforcement department or agency, or equivalent experience in another state.
• One year of full-time experience as a sworn law enforcement officer in a California POST participating law enforcement department or agency, or equivalent experience in another state.
• Possession of a POST Basic Certificate or a Basic Course Waiver from the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
