Maintenance Mechanic I Job Description

At Bonduelle Fresh Americas, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic I to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal production levels.
  • Assist with diagnosing and repairing complex manufacturing equipment issues.
  • Work safely around moving equipment and conveyors in a wet environment.
  • Lock out/Tag out equipment as necessary.
  • Comply with SQF Regulatory Programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 0-1 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of cleaning and degreasing techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be crossed-trained in multiple positions.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold environment.
  • Reading, Writing, Speaking English Preferred.
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a cold environment, using ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, and being exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
