Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist - Allied Health Professional

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a travel healthcare professional in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a travel Respiratory Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
