Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Thunderbolt Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to assist with the daily care of our residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to Charge Nurse
  • Participate in collecting data for the MDS and plan of care
  • Provide input to nurses for development of the plan of care
  • Assist with preparing residents for meals and transporting them to the dining room
  • Keep accurate records of food intake and output
  • Assist with aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent infection
  • Be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light, and noise control
  • Promptly answer call lights and other resident needs
Requirements:
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the state
  • Maintain CPR Certification
  • High School Graduate or GED
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make decisions quickly, and interact with residents, personnel, and visitors under all conditions and circumstances.

The successful candidate will be subject to call-back during emergency conditions and may be required to work beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily.

This job does not normally involve contact with blood and/or body fluids, but may require exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc.
