Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students to assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with the IEP team.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' needs within the classroom and school environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to develop and review therapy goals.
  • Document and track student progress, providing updates to the school team and parents.

Requirements
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations for school-based therapy services.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and adapt to different school environments.
