Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and process various pharmacy and medical claim reports to identify current users of specialty drugs
  • Accurately and efficiently enter claims data in Salesforce
  • Identify program participants and complete intake preparation by verifying plan eligibility and creating contacts, cases, referrals, and tasks in Salesforce
  • Submit alternate funding billing and override information to the dispensing specialty pharmacy
  • Research pharmacy and medical benefits to process benefit overrides
  • Enter (or submit) override details in the PBM claim system and inform the dispensing pharmacy when to reprocess claims
  • Utilize access to multiple PBM claim systems to identify new members, verify eligibility, enter overrides, and investigate claim issues
  • Verify that PBM claims are processing per implementation guidelines
Requirements:
  • CPhT or PTCB Certification preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of PBM, pharmacy operations, or claims processing experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent dispensing and claims adjudication experience
  • Strong analytical, planning, organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Spanish Bilingual is a plus
