Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute daily reports as required.
- Accurately manage VIP and complimentary room lists, as well as rooms out of order.
- Conduct nightly backup procedures for all systems.
- Facilitate express checkouts and ensure their completion.
- Complete the Night Audit checklist thoroughly.
- Balance daily postings and revenue accurately.
- Communicate effectively with all departments through wrap-up emails to ensure seamless operations.
- Document any discrepancies identified during cash handling audits.
- Prepare daily allowance and adjustment spreadsheets.
- Ensure the nightly transmission of credit card data is completed.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of check-in and check-out procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison between guests and the hotel.
- Safeguard confidential guest information and access to guest rooms.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and the alarm system.
- Follow up on guest requests and concerns, adhering to service recovery protocols.
- Be familiar with all front office systems and equipment.
- Understand hotel rate plans and strategies for rate adjustments.
- Be aware of hotel amenities and facilities.
- Foster inter-departmental relationships to enhance guest experience.
- Assist guests in navigating the hotel and its services.
- Operate various office equipment efficiently.
- Engage actively with guests to identify and meet their needs, striving to exceed expectations.
