Nemours Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our pediatric anesthesia team in Jacksonville, Florida.
Key Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia to patients in a pediatric setting, working collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, select and administer medications, and monitor patients' physical status throughout the perioperative experience.
- Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia, and provide post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care as needed.
- Respond to emergency situations, providing airway management and administering emergency fluids and medications as required.
- Participate in department quality assurance and performance improvement activities, monitoring and evaluating the quality of patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited Anesthesiology Assistant program or a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
- Current Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Licensure.
- Current Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, with biannual recertification required.
- AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
