As a Registered Professional Nurse in our Pre-Surgery Assessment team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and Provide Professional Nursing Care: Independently assess and plan care for patients undergoing surgery, in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and Evaluate Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Education and Licensure: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certifications: Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and other unit-specific certifications.
- Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree and national certification in a clinical specialty.
