Role Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on GridGain's platform, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to enhance adoption and utilization.
- Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer and Product teams to develop and communicate the core product positioning and messaging.
- Continuously evaluate both immediate and long-term differentiators of the platform.
- Articulate the platform's value at every stage, from product launch to training and ongoing marketing initiatives.
- Analyze market needs and adjust positioning as necessary.
- Create and produce sales enablement materials to assist Business Development Representatives and account executives, streamlining sales processes.
- Train the sales team on product knowledge and positioning in a clear and comprehensible manner.
- Develop and implement marketing collateral and campaigns that support revenue-generating activities, including presentations, product data sheets, white papers, and lead generation programs.
- Engage with customers to gather business requirements for sales tools and highlight successes for case studies.
- Serve as a key spokesperson at industry conferences and for media and analyst relations.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in product marketing, with substantial expertise in real-time data infrastructure software, data integration, or streaming analytics, ideally in startup environments.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical features and translate them into clear business language, crafting compelling value propositions and messaging.
- Proven track record of supporting sales teams and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, visual) for both internal and external audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a self-directed approach.
- Data-driven decision-maker.
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of marketing technologies.
- Strong teamwork, organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing and building teams when necessary.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus.
