Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Technician to join our team at International Marina Group LP. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boats of all kinds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain boats to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Diagnose and repair boat engines, hulls, propellers, rigging, masts, sails, and navigational equipment
  • Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories
  • Troubleshoot and repair vessel systems and components, including electrical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing, and water systems
  • Conduct thorough assessments prior to starting a job, including acknowledging the budgeted time frame for completion and sourcing parts if required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Technical school training preferred
  • 5 years experience preferred
  • ABYC certifications required (training provided as required); manufacturer certifications preferred
  • Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Basic boat handling skills preferred
  • Experience with both gas and diesel engines preferred
