We are seeking a skilled Neurology specialist to provide coverage for traumatic brain injury and general medicine exams near Portland, ME.

About the Position

This is a PRN position available immediately, offering flexibility and a meaningful role in serving our nation's Veterans. The ideal candidate will have experience in General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury, with a strong foundation in conducting interviews and physical assessments.

The location offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care. Our team provides normal nursing and tech support at the facility, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

Schedule and Compensation

Candidates can choose from various schedule options, including 4-hour and 8-hour days. This locum tenens opportunity also offers a competitive daily rate, making it an attractive option for physicians looking for a flexible and rewarding assignment.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Board Certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • State License in Maine
  • Certification in DMA (CME credits available); client does not reimburse for certifications or portal training

Candidates must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions, and using a goniometer. They should also have familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio issues.

Onboarding and Support

We offer quick credentialing and onboarding, ensuring that candidates can start their assignment without delay. Normal nursing and tech support are available at the facility, providing a seamless transition into the new role.
