Extrusion Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Extrusion Assistant to join our team at Polyvantis. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our sheet extrusion line and related process equipment.

• Assist in the operation of the sheet extrusion line and related process equipment, following standard operating procedures and system instructions.
• Complete training to become a certified sheet extrusion operator within 24 months.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure the dimensional properties, saw cutting quality, packaging, and overall product appearance meet manufacturing specifications and control plans.
• Enter operational data into SAP for accurate accounting and timely transactions.
• Participate in OEE improvement teams and activities to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve data accuracy.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including entering work orders for repairs and logging activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S, safety, ESP, and TPM standards.
• Operate industrial vehicles, including specialty vehicles, and maintain proficiency and licensing.
• Stay current with all training profile requirements.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and coordinate team activities.
• Training to achieve 50% competency within 3 months, 70% within 6 months, and 90% within 24 months.
• Computer knowledge, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of raw materials specifications, product specifications, and customer requirements.
• 1-3 years of experience in aiding the operation of a thermoplastic sheet extrusion line or similar experience.
