Auditing Professional I

We are seeking a highly skilled Auditing Professional I to join our team at MYR Group. In this role, you will perform audits for assigned areas of operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial, operational, and compliance audits, utilizing their analytical skills and expertise in accounting and risk management. They will also develop and maintain client relationships, assist in the preparation of audit reports, and perform annual SOX 404 testing.

• Perform audit engagements and review organizational activities to identify risks and ensure associated controls are operating effectively
• Lead discussions to obtain a detailed understanding of business processes, systems, and applications
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Develop and maintain client relationships, fostering trust and ensuring satisfaction

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. A minimum of one year of professional experience in auditing, accounting, finance, risk, banking, or business consulting is required. You should also be proficient in Microsoft applications, detail-oriented, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

As an Auditing Professional I at MYR Group, you can expect a competitive salary range of $64,000-$70,000 per year, paid weekly.
