Job Summary

The Data Architect will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper development and integration of optimization efforts to drive the evolution of IoT infrastructure technologies and proactive maintenance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the overall data architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Perform technical oversight, quality assurance, and risk management for solution architecture and delivery.
  • Design and implement data models, data integration processes, and data storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate data management tools, technologies, and techniques to support the organization's data architecture.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data warehouses, data marts, and other data repositories.
  • Develop and maintain data standards, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers and database administrators to optimize data access and performance.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
  • Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • DoD or Federal Government industry experience preferred.
  • Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II level, including CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, SSCP.
