We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Librarian to join our team at Lone Star College. As a key member of our library staff, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting student learning, providing information services, and contributing to the educational environment of the college.

• Provide research assistance and instruction to students, faculty, and staff, using a variety of formats and technologies.
• Develop and maintain a range of instructional materials, including print and online resources, to support student learning.
• Collaborate with faculty and other library staff to develop and deliver research and information literacy programs.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the library's collection, including selection, acquisition, and cataloging of materials.
• Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty, and staff, using a variety of formats and technologies.
• Maintain a study atmosphere conducive to student learning, and ensure that the library is a welcoming and inclusive space for all users.

• Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of library experience in higher education, preferably at a community college.
• Thorough knowledge of library automation systems, including circulation and acquisitions functions.
