Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one care to adults in their homes, helping them to succeed in their daily lives and participate more fully in community activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care
  • Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
  • Assist with transportation and support out in the community, including outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, such as community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
  • Redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Maintaining professional attitude and appearance at all times
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable, responsible attitude
  • Compassionate approach and commitment to quality in everything you do
