Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with the mobility and positioning of patients.
  • Support patients in personal care and daily living activities.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional states to the nursing staff, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is in proper working order.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
    • BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
    • Nurse Aide certification is preferred.
  • Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant job experience is required. Note: Professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience if applicable.
