The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota invites applications for a 9-month, full-time faculty position at the Sioux Falls campus in the undergraduate BSN program.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified nursing professional to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical instruction, and curriculum development in our undergraduate BSN program.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach classroom and clinical instruction, including simulation, laboratory skills, and seminar
  • Oversee and evaluate students' clinical reasoning and clinical performance
  • Assess and evaluate student learning
  • Develop and implement curriculum and course materials
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing from a nationally accredited program
  • Current unencumbered license, eligible for licensure in South Dakota
  • Strong nursing background with current clinical experience in medical surgical nursing
  • Experience teaching in a baccalaureate or higher degree program
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and incorporate technology into teaching and learning
Working Conditions:

Clinical, lab, classroom, and office setting
