We are currently seeking a Project Director to oversee our Project Management department. The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Director, or a comparable position. We value individuals who are personable, energetic, and demonstrate strong leadership and commitment to project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project financial performance and ensure regular reporting to senior management.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders including clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Continuously assess project progress by reviewing schedules, work plans, and labor efficiency.
  • Lead teams on intricate mechanical projects from inception to completion, focusing on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical piping systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on-site.
  • Collaborate with the Design and Engineering Team to devise effective project strategies.
  • Review construction documents and provide necessary insights to the project management team.
  • Organize project meetings with both internal and external teams.
  • Guide the development of advanced project schedules for contracted work.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance performance and achieve team objectives.
  • Participate actively in strategic planning sessions and initiatives.
  • Work with other leaders to assess workforce requirements for ongoing and future projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Mechanical Construction Project Management (HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience in Construction Management.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, BlueBeam, P6 preferred; Viewpoint and Autodesk are a plus).
  • Demonstrated experience in estimating and the ability to apply this knowledge for change orders and resource-loaded scheduling.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction documents.
  • A strong personal commitment to achieving long-term, meaningful objectives.
