TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center has been serving our community for over 40 years, providing a wide range of healthcare services including emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. We are accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, demonstrating our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Join Our Team
As a Freestanding Emergency Room Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Our hospital features over 300 board-certified physicians representing more than 20 specialties, many of whom have offices located on our campus.
Your Role
In this role, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, utilizing therapeutic communication to create a safe and supportive environment. You will identify nursing problems and develop individualized patient plans, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
As a charge nurse, you will be responsible for day-to-day activities, making staff assignments based on patient needs and acuity, and serving as a clinical resource for your colleagues. You will also respond promptly to requests for information or follow-up with physicians, staff, or patient issues.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and employee stock purchase plan. Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess current RN licensure by the TN Board of Nursing or a compact state, BLS certification, and ACLS and PALS certification within one year of employment. You should also have one year of RN experience, preferably in ER settings, and CPI certification within six months of employment.
