Chocolate Confectioner

We are seeking a skilled Panning Specialist to join our team at Seattle Gourmet Foods. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating coating pans, maintaining the panning process, and adhering to production formulas according to customer requirements.

• Operate Coating Pans: Safely and efficiently operate coating pans to produce high-quality chocolate confections.
• Maintain Panning Process: Monitor and maintain all aspects of the panning process to ensure consistency and quality.
• Follow Production Formulas: Adhere to production formulas and customer requirements to ensure accurate and timely production.
• Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a strong understanding of food safety and quality protocols to ensure compliance with SQF fundamentals.
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain open communication to resolve any issues.

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Experience: 5+ months of production/processing experience preferred.
• Skills: Ability to read, speak, and write English; mathematical aptitude to work with formulas and measures; ability to work safely around/with automated and semi-automated machinery.
• Physical Demands: Ability to push, pull, lift, and/or move 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack.

• Compensation: Starting pay $20-25/hour DOE.
