About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Hillcrest Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Operate all routine radiographic equipment safely and proficiently, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Produce high-quality radiographs with a minimum of repeats, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Manage multiple room assignments and different types of exams on a daily basis, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Demonstrate expertise in contrast media injections and reactions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Supervise duties assigned to student radiographers, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development.
  • Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT, with a commitment to obtaining registration within one year of employment.
  • Basic Life Support certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient care and safety.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an X-Ray Tech, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic healthcare team.
