Job Summary

The Effector Digital Products department at Raytheon is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units. The successful candidate will develop FPGA designs for major vendors and device families, including Xilinx, Intel, Microchip, and Lattice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement FPGA designs using VHDL and Verilog
  • Develop and support digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units
  • Collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements and select parts
  • Perform code development, simulation, and place and route
  • Verify designs against requirements using directed test and constrained random methodologies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major
  • Experience with digital design and VHDL or Verilog coding
  • Familiarity with Xilinx, Altera, or Microsemi/Microchip FPGAs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • ABET accreditation
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities and cultures
