We are seeking a motivated CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our team at Vistar. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for delivering food and food service products to customers across the country. If you have a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL-A license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer or straight truck, navigating various routes and road conditions, and adhering to Department of Transportation regulations. Your ability to work independently and effectively interact with customers, vendors, and colleagues will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance and adherence to DOT regulations
- Deliver food and food service products to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns related to deliveries

Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license
- 6+ months commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Ability to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift

Benefits:
Vistar offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and development. Our drivers make $70-75k annually with overtime, and we provide progressive pay raises every 6 months up to 24 months.
