**Job Summary:**
Certified Vehicle Technicians at CarMax work in a fast-paced environment where motivation is key. We are seeking skilled automotive technicians to join our team as Engine Repair Specialists. As an essential member of our crew, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and reconditioning vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
About the Role:
We are looking for individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas: engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning. You will work collaboratively with a skilled team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively. Your role will involve diagnosing and fixing issues with domestic and foreign vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with colleagues to diagnose and fix complex technical issues.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year (estimated), based on experience and location.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- ASE Certifications: Possession of ASE certifications in relevant areas is preferred.
- Manual Dexterity and Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for extended periods.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide excellent customer service.
