About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our medical services team. As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to gain extensive experience in working with diverse patients, healthcare professionals, and clinics.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy variety in their workday. You will be responsible for collecting blood samples, performing data entry, processing billing information, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting blood samples via venipuncture and capillary techniques for various age groups
  • Specimen collection for drug screens, paternity tests, and other laboratory tests
  • Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
  • Processing billing information and collecting payments when necessary
  • Preparing specimens for testing and analysis
  • Maintaining patient and specimen logs
  • Providing superior customer service to all patients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from a recognized agency
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record (if applicable)
  • At least 21 years old

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
