The Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse is responsible for the comprehensive care of NICU patients, employing the Nursing Process in line with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Accountability: Holds shift accountability for patient care in the NICU.
- Critical Thinking: Demonstrates advanced critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe care.
- Clinical Competence: Maintains clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
- Delegation: Effectively delegates patient care tasks based on the qualifications and experience of available staff.
- Supervision: Provides direction and oversight to personnel involved in patient care.
- Certifications Required: BLS, NRP.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of NICU experience is preferred.
This position requires night shifts.
Additional Information- Submissions must include the home address.
- Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
