Porter/Groundskeeper

MMS Group is seeking a skilled Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team at a 200-unit residential property in Salisbury, MD. As a Porter/Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the property, including daily cleaning of common areas, reporting concerns, and performing other duties as assigned.

• Daily cleaning of all common areas, including dusting, sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, and emptying garbage
• Reporting all notable concerns, such as vandalism, missing light bulbs or fixtures, and missing smoke detectors or extinguishers in the common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Keeping the property and parking lots in a neat and orderly manner, checking property throughout the day
• Performing other duties associated with the maintenance of the grounds as assigned by the Property Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying
• Adherence to work-safety and risk management programs
• Professional and reliable
