Job Summary
Physician Empire is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team as a Faculty Member in Psychiatry. This is a permanent position located in the Tri City Area, serving a population of 253,000 people.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive behavior health curriculum for the Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Contribute to the development of Wellness activities for the Graduate Medical Education (GME) department, focusing on Family Medicine Residency.
- Provide assessment and treatment services for patients with mental health problems at the Family Medicine Residency Clinic, including elective appointments and walk-in patients in crisis or with urgent needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' mental health problems.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions for mental health issues.
- Liaise with physicians, nurses, and psychiatry staff to ensure seamless patient care and treatment.
- Complete required documentation and statistical reporting in a timely manner.
- Offer telehealth interventions and provide curbside consultations to the primary care team.
- Accommodate walk-in patients in crisis or with urgent needs.
- Attend staff meetings, FM residency faculty meetings, and training classes as required.
Requirements
- Strong background in Psychiatry and experience in teaching and mentoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software.
