Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at JobRialto. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and providing support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Administer and monitor patient responses to medications, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
  • Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel, maintaining standards of professional nursing within our hospital's policies.
  • Maintain and deliver the highest quality customer service standards, providing a positive experience for our patients and their families.
  • Properly utilize the nursing process in caring for patients, maintaining relevant, accurate, and current patient records as evidenced by Nursing PI activities.
  • Provide documentation of assessment of the patient throughout the hospital admission, including physical, psychological, social dimensions, and discharge plans.
  • Summarize assessment data and initiate a plan of care with communication of pertinent data to allied patient care providers, as evidenced by Nursing PI activities.
  • Understand, assume, and demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse, ensuring effective leadership and decision-making.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Computerized Nursing Informatics (information systems), utilizing technology to enhance patient care.
  • Assume the role of resource person regarding patient care, orientation, and teaching staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in at least four-unit staff meetings per year, attend mandatory programs, and obtain three hours of Patient Care Assessment Committee (PCAC) credit per year.
  • Participate in the identification of aspects of care for the patient, indicators used to monitor the quality and appropriateness of care, and the evaluation of that care.
  • Adhere to safety, blood/body fluid policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Assess personal learning development needs, maintaining documentation of current and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Regularly update knowledge of techniques and regulations appropriate to the age of the patient served, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Represent the hospital in the community and within the hospital, maintaining confidentiality regarding patients and hospital matters, and presenting the hospital in a manner that will best market the services provided.
  • Perform other work-related duties and activities as assigned or requested by his/her immediate supervisor.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN Preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required.
  • Pschiatric experience Preferred.
