About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Coordinator to join our team at Live Nation Entertainment. As a key member of our Sustainability Team, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our company-wide sustainability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive zero waste plans for our venues, including waste reduction, recycling, and composting programs.
- Collaborate with venue leaders and departments to ensure compliance with sustainability policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular waste audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure sustainable practices.
- Provide training and education to venue staff on sustainability best practices.
- Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, including waste diversion rates and energy consumption.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a leadership position in operations, event coordination, guest services, or sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
