Job Summary

As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care using lab physiological and ultrasound equipment. Your expertise will be essential in performing echocardiography lab exams, assisting with clinical rotations, and participating in after-hours and on-call services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform most modalities of echocardiography, including 2-D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow Doppler imaging.
  • Assist qualified physicians with TEE procedures and review images and paperwork to ensure quality exams are complete and thorough.
  • Rotate to multiple lab locations as scheduled and required by the IAC, participating in the daily workflow and observing the sonographer worklist to ensure timely patient care.
  • Operate all lab testing equipment and software packages, including ultrasound and physiological equipment, EMR, and Structured Reporting and PACS.
  • Report any equipment issues to the appropriate personnel and maintain up-to-date maintenance logs.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Radiology or Sonography.
  • One year of echo sonography experience performing non-invasive cardiac ultrasound studies.
  • ARDMS - RDCS or CCI (RCS) certification.
