The University of California, Irvine invites applications for a Clinical Child Psychologist position within The Center for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CAND). This role will contribute to the provision of exceptional clinical services, education, and research focused on autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per yearThis position requires a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counseling, with current licensure as a psychologist in California. Out-of-state licensed psychologists have 180 days to complete licensure requirements. Clinical experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, preferably across all four modules of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), is essential.
Job DescriptionThis Clinical Child Psychologist will work under the supervision of the Psychology Division lead to support CAND's mission. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct clinical care to pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients through diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, and related services.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, medical professionals, behavioral consultants, educational consultants, and speech-language pathologists.
- Conducting complex diagnoses, problem-solving, and critical thinking to develop and present treatment recommendations.
- Thorough knowledge of providing evaluation, diagnosis, and psychotherapy services.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Clinical experience working with diverse client groups, faculty, and staff.
