Pediatric Registered Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare of West Des Moines, IA. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to pediatric patients with illnesses, injuries, and chronic diseases in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home care to pediatric patients, including assessments, medication management, and education on care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Interim HealthCare's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in IA.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, with a focus on home health care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • CPR certification and knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
