Fixed Equipment Inspector

As a Fixed Equipment Inspector, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive inspection services across various refinery process units and auxiliary facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safety and reliability of fixed equipment by conducting scheduled inspections and providing guidance on quality repairs that adhere to corporate and regulatory standards.
2. Plan, coordinate, and execute both internal and external compliance inspections for tanks, vessels, columns, and piping at mandated intervals.
3. Implement and uphold equipment reliability strategies and a risk-based inspection (RBI) approach for your designated area.
4. Engage in design reviews for new construction projects to confirm compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
5. Participate in the planning of inspection scopes during turnarounds and manage inspection obligations, including internal inspections, necessary repairs, and non-destructive examination (NDE) scheduling and validation.
6. Maintain accurate inspection data, records, recommendations, and repair documentation within computer-based reliability data management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge of refinery process unit operations.
- Experience in supporting Fixed Equipment Asset Strategy initiatives, including the creation and implementation of asset strategy tasks, establishing acceptance criteria, and documenting processes in the System of Record (SoR).
- Skills in executing asset strategy tasks, evaluating outcomes against acceptance criteria, identifying and managing deficiencies, and developing actionable recommendations.
- Experience in shutdown planning and execution, routine compliance, and additional surveillance activities.
Communication Skills:
Effective oral and written communication skills are essential for this role.
Relocation Options:
Relocation is not available for this position; only local candidates will be considered.

Expatriate assignments are not applicable for this role.
