Tact Staff is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview
  • Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit

  • Shift Length: 12 hours
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Patient Demographics: Adolescents to Geriatrics
  • Certifications Needed: BLS, ACLS, NIH
Work Environment

The position involves a mixed patient population including neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and medical cases. The nurse will be responsible for managing cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring. Assignments may vary between all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a combination based on patient acuity and staffing needs.

Staffing and Scheduling
  • Staffing Ratio: 1:4-5
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Yes, within the facility
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Holiday Work: Expected if assigned during major holidays
Compliance and Orientation

Full compliance is required to commence the assignment on schedule. Delays in compliance may result in a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
