Located in a serene 57-acre landscape, Sutter Roseville Medical Center provides comprehensive acute care services for patients of all ages. With 405 licensed beds and a full spectrum of medical services, we cater to the healthcare needs of a diverse population. Our facility includes a level II Trauma Center, serving a broad region, and specialized services such as the Sutter Cancer Center and Family Birth Center.
Role Responsibilities:
The Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager is accountable for overseeing the daily functions of the Pharmacy Department. Key responsibilities include:
1. Supervising pharmacy staff and ensuring effective communication within the department.
2. Managing clinical programs and optimizing the allocation of pharmacy resources to guarantee high-quality patient care.
3. Ensuring the precise preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products while adhering to current medical practices and regulatory standards.
4. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient therapy outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education:
Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Current PHARMD-Licensed Pharmacist certification.
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting.
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Drug Utilization Review Procedures and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.
- Proficient in outpatient and unit dose dispensing, IV admixture compounding, and clinical pharmacy programs.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on team development and mentorship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with legal and accreditation standards relevant to pharmacy practice.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with evening shifts, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required.
