About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Christian Home Healthcare. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Hygiene Assistance: Provide personal hygiene assistance to clients, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Assist with Ambulation and Rehabilitation: Assist clients with ambulation and rehabilitation, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their prescribed medication, ensuring they receive the necessary care and treatment.
  • Household Support: Assist clients with household tasks, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Transportation and Errands: Accompany clients on outings, such as doctor's appointments, walks, and shopping trips.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and Supportive: Demonstrate a compassionate and supportive attitude towards clients, their families, and colleagues.
  • Reliable Transportation: Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at client visits.
  • Valid Photo ID and Social Security Card: Possess a valid photo ID and Social Security card for employment purposes.
  • Training and Certification: Complete state training requirements, Christian Home Healthcare's training program, or nursing aid certification and part 2 Christian Home Healthcare institute.
  • Criminal Background Check and Child Care Clearance: Undergo a criminal background check and child care clearance to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Physical and Health Screening: Undergo a physical and health screening to ensure the ability to perform job duties.
  • Annual TB Testing: Complete annual TB testing to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Be available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends, and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
