About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the PACU setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Provide individualized care to patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • ASN/ADN or BSN from an accredited program
  • Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years of hire, unless you have a minimum of 15 years of proven, continuous, acute care RN experience
  • Current RN license to practice in the state of Montana
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • TNCC by 1/20/20
  • One year of Phase I PACU experience preferred
