Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel RN - CVICU to join our team. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to enhance their careers while providing exceptional care in a dynamic environment.
Shift Details:- Type: Nights / 7p-7:30a
- Schedule: 12x3, 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Active CA Nursing License
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Proven cardiovascular expertise, including open heart and balloon pump management
- Essential Skills: Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV insulin protocols, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IV initiation, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, and suctioning
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- NIH Certification
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Local candidates are accepted
- COVID-19 vaccination is required, including booster, with exemptions allowed
- Flu vaccination is mandatory, with exemptions permitted
Unit Overview:
ICU with an average census of 24 patients and 28 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with every other weekend coverage required. There is no call requirement, and self-scheduling is available. Scrubs are royal blue.
Patient Demographics:
Adults to geriatrics.
Required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIH.

Estimated weekly pay is based on qualifications and experience, specifically for travel positions located over 50 miles from the permanent address.
