Revenue Accounting Role
Axon's Revenue Accounting team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. As a Senior Project Accountant, you'll play a critical role in this process, working closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee correct financial reporting and compliance. Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales, Commercial Operations, Deals desk, Legal, and IT teams to ensure proper contract and quote structuring for accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and analyze customer arrangements with non-standard terms to guarantee correct revenue recognition.
  • Research complex technical accounting issues and draft memos on key findings, applying ASC 606 guidelines.
  • Coordinate new product and pricebook setups to ensure correct revenue recognition patterns.
  • Identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements to support the company's rapid growth and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Accounting Operations to ensure timely revenue close.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
* ~3-5 years of accounting and analysis experience, with revenue (ASC 606) experience being a plus
* Recent public accounting experience or revenue accounting experience with a publicly-traded company highly desirable
* Strong understanding of accounting for Multiple-Element Arrangements
* Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial management
* Strong technical accounting skills
* Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with Salesforce is a plus
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Concern for quality and deadlines
