Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at The Overlook, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality care and services to older adults in Massachusetts.

The Speech Therapist will provide skilled speech therapy services in home and skilled nursing settings, consistent with ASHA professional standards and MHS/OCAH policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech pathology and experience working with patients in various settings.

• Complete patient assessments and evaluations to determine functional level and establish a therapeutic program.
• Develop a therapy plan of care with the overall plan of care to include goals and discharge plans.
• Document, within time frames, observations, patient's response to treatment, treatment programs, degree of progress and notable changes in patient condition.
• Communicate and coordinates patient care with other members of the patient's health care team.
• Provide patient caregiver, and family teaching related to the patient's speech therapy program and its maintenance.

• Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Massachusetts.
• Must possess a current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
