Position Summary:

The Medical Assistant role is crucial in ensuring a positive patient experience during every visit. This position involves guiding patients throughout their appointments and actively addressing their needs. Building trust and rapport between patients and healthcare providers is essential in this role.

NO NIGHTS - NO WEEKENDS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care and customer service to every patient.
  • Welcome patients with a friendly greeting and escort them to their examination rooms.
  • Foster relationships with patients to create a comfortable environment for discussing sensitive issues, ensuring they feel informed and valued.
  • Participate diligently in executing care plans and treatments as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Administer medications safely, adhering to the treatment plans established by the medical team.
  • Collaborate with providers and the patient experience team to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment that meets the high standards of a medical facility.
  • Celebrate patient successes and motivate others to pursue positive lifestyle changes.

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid license in South Dakota to administer and document medications as prescribed by a Physician, PA, NP, or APRN.

  • Experience with blood draws and injections is required.
  • Self-driven team player eager to contribute significantly to a growing medical practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with both patients and medical staff.
  • Possesses a positive work ethic that inspires others and exemplifies genuine care and friendliness.
