Job Summary:

The Patient Transport & Lift Team Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients within the healthcare facility. This position requires a high level of customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients between patient care units and other ancillary departments, utilizing patient lifting equipment and safe patient handling policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and inventory patient lifting equipment, ensuring proper hygiene and functionality.
  • Assist with employee education and training on patient lifting equipment and transfer techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years old to be considered for position.
  • Basic understanding of communication equipment, such as pagers and phones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
