We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Phaxis, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment performing thousands of procedures a year. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment, preparing patients for radiographic studies, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by physicians.
  • Determine, prepare, and set up medical supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe procedures.
  • Position patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required.
  • Monitor accessory equipment and assist attending physicians with fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies.
  • Record and label film with identifying information, and sort as required.
  • Consult with lead x-ray technologists and radiologists to ensure compliance with established standards of quality.
  • Process film in accordance with standardized procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous management experience preferred.
  • AART Registered and CPR Current.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Must possess independent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position, 20-30 hours per week, with some weekends as needed.

Compensation:

$30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
