Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Medical Provider to join our team at Access Community Health Centers. As a primary care physician, you will provide comprehensive medical services to our patients in a collaborative effort with the care team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and health screenings.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in primary care.
Requirements:
- Licensed Medical Doctor, Licensed Wisconsin Doctor of Osteopathic, or Licensed Wisconsin Physician Assistant.
- Board certified (or board eligible) in Family Practice with or without Obstetrics.
- Insurable for liability coverage as a physician.
- Evidence of continuing education, as required.
- Experience with supervising, motivating, and directing medical staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with mid-level providers.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations or working within a community health center.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
