Job Summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle GA is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Horticulture Instructor to teach Biology of Horticulture courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures and discussions on horticulture-related topics.
  • Prepare and distribute course materials, including syllabi, handouts, and evaluations.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in horticulture education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of horticulture programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Biology, or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching experience and certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing curriculum and program needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Horticulture or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of industry certifications and standards.
