Comprehensive Medicine Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Comprehensive Medicine Unit team at VCU Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and implement individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and services
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for compact state licensure
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in internal medicine and telemetry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
- Certification in a specialty area, such as critical care or pediatrics
- Experience working with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
