About the Role

Zarephath Community Services is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will work closely with children and families experiencing behavioral health challenges, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to youth and families, helping them develop life skills and strategies to overcome behavioral health challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Department of Child Safety to ensure a smooth reunification process.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with youth, caregivers, and caseworkers to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide direct support training, including group and individual instruction, to help youth and families develop essential life skills.
  • Work in a community-based setting, providing support and guidance to youth and families in their homes and communities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in the behavioral health field, preferably with youth and families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to maintain car insurance coverage.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
